At ServiceTrack, we value your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information within the mobile application.
For the proper functioning of logistics services, we access:
We collect your precise location to validate arrival at service orders and calculate distances.
Used exclusively for scanning serial numbers and capturing photographic evidence of the service.
User ID and credentials to maintain a secure session.
When you sign in with a Field Technician profile and have active assigned orders, the application collects your GPS location approximately every 5 minutes, even when the app is in the background or the device is locked. This is implemented using a foreground service that displays a persistent notification while active, indicating that tracking is in progress.
This functionality is essential to: (a) dispatch the closest technician to a new order, (b) confirm arrival at the customer site, (c) compute travel time and operational performance, (d) provide visibility and safety to the technician during the work shift. Collection stops automatically when you sign out, when you have no active assigned orders, or when you revoke the location permission at the system level.
You can revoke the location permission at any time from Settings > Apps > ServiceTrack > Permissions. If revoked, you will not be able to be assigned to new orders until it is restored.
Collected data is used exclusively for service operations: order assignment and tracking, evidence generation, computation of operational metrics and KPIs. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.
Operational information (location, evidence, timestamps) may be shared with the contracting company (your employer) and, when applicable, with their end customers as part of service reports. We do not share personal data with advertisers, social networks, or market analytics providers.
Location and evidence data are retained while the service order is active and for an additional period required for audits and legal obligations (maximum 24 months). After that period, data is anonymized or deleted. Account credentials and data are retained while the account is active.
You have the right to access, rectify, cancel, or oppose the processing of your personal data (ARCO rights under Mexican LFPDPPP, equivalent to GDPR rights in the EU). To exercise them, send your request to the support email at the end of this policy along with a copy of your ID. We will respond within 20 business days.
We apply technical and administrative measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), session authentication, role-based access control, and audit logging. No system is 100% secure; we recommend that you do not share your password and that you sign out when you are done.
ServiceTrack is a workplace tool. The application is not directed to anyone under 18 years of age and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you find that a minor has provided information, contact us so we can delete it.
If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you can request it through our support portal or by email. The process takes up to 30 business days. Some information may be retained due to legal or contractual obligations.
The data controller for your personal data is ProLog (qbo-track.com). For questions about this policy or your data, write to callcenter2@qbo-track.com.
We may update this policy when we add new functionality or due to legal requirements. The last update date is shown at the top. Material changes will be notified within the application.
